Justin Lopez is an Operations executive with over 20 years of experience working across the defense industry, Wall Street, national nonprofit, and now entrepreneurship. He creates organizational behaviors that align tasks and resources to achieve company goals in all environments – from volunteer leaders to fast-paced transactional and risk processes.
Justin’s career demonstrates success across multiple industries, environments and regions. He completed overseas projects in Bahrain and Korea, and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) organizational preparedness during his time in the defense industry. His financial services career was in Operations divisions, with roles that included oversight of transactional processing for institutional trade clients, business intelligence, business continuity, overall process improvement, risk and control self-assessments, and regulatory audit and reporting. Justin’s nonprofit experience was oversight of national operations, which included the organization’s annual national convention, Covid-era pivots to virtual offerings and connections in lieu of traditionally in-person events, 50+ professional and 100+ student chapter volunteer leader policies and procedures, national programs, overall marketing and organizational technology infrastructure.
Currently, Justin is the Managing Partner for the newly created CCL Partners Group, LLC. His background also includes employee resource network leadership, diversity recruiting, formal mentorship, and professional preparation for early-career candidates.
Justin holds an MBA in Global Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management, an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from the Bush School of Government & Public Service, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University.
